Chris Barron

Dark Water

The songs that make up the debut release feel like they’ve been – and will be – around forever. It just took a special group of players to summon them from the ether and give them life. In addition, it’s the shared history of the members that solidifies Dark Water. Brandon Bush, Benji Shanks and Kristian Bush have been sound-tracking the lives of listeners for 20 years as members of various bands including Train and Sugarland.

A Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame inductee with an unprecedented 53 BMI Awards in addition to the distinction as BMI “Songwriter of the Century.” Wrote such hits as “I Love A Rainy Night”, “When You’re in Love with a Beautiful Woman”, “Love Will Turn You Around” and “Suspicions.” Has written for artists including; Joe Cocker, Tim McGraw, Kenny Chesney, Martina McBride, Kenny Rogers, Dolly Parton, Eddie Rabbit, The Oak Ridge Boys, Alabama and more.

Jed Wyatt

Known by many for his appearance on ABC’s The Bachelorette, Jed moved to Nashville in 2015 and began performing in and around the city. He wrote and co-wrote multiple songs and released singles throughout 2016-18 and is now in the studio with new releases on the horizon.

Bre Kennedy

Indie-pop/Singer-songwriter from Nashville, TN known for her commanding vocals and completely riveting live performances. Has opened for Sheryl Crow, Gary Clark Jr and more.

Paul McDonald

Paul’s voice is immediately recognizable and impossible to ignore. He pulls over the rare feat of being a proper songwriter, adamant performer and a powerful vocalist. His poetic story-driven narratives and deeply catchy hooks in his music are delivered by a raspy yet refined voice reminiscent of another era yet that demands to be heard right now.

Coretta King

Grew up in Memphis, TN and currently living in Nashville, Coretta has been featured at songwriting shows at The Bluebird Café, Top Writer Series and Backstage Nashville. Has opened for 90’s R&B heavy hitter, Michele.

Katie Pruitt

Katie was awarded the Buddy Holly Prize from the Songwriters Hall of Fame and was named by Rolling Stone as one of the 10 new country artists you need to know. NPR highlighted Pruitt as someone who “possesses a soaring, nuanced and expressive voice, and writes with devastating honesty.”

Crys Matthews

An award-winning, prolific lyricist and composer, Matthews has been hailed as “the next Woody Guthrie.” Won the 2017 New Song Music and Performance grand prize at the Lincoln Center and is considered to be among the brightest starts of the new generation of social justice music-makers.

Alissa Moreno

Originally from New Mexico and currently living in Nashville, Alissa Moreno is a Grammy nominated songwriter for the Rascal Flatts #1 hit, “Every Day.” She’s also written with and been recorded by Colbie Cailat, Sara Evans, Vince Gill, John Oats and more.

Hugh Mitchell

Born in California, raised in Alabama, Hugh Mitchell developed a style that bridges the gap between his love of songwriting and his need for a loud guitar. Influenced by Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young and Jackson Browne. He has been referred to as “…the golden-throated troubadour…” by American Songwriter Magazine.

Kelly Paige

Songwriter. Singer. Rapper? Meet Kelly Paige, the darkly funny, hopelessly-hopeful songwriters who’s never really fit in. She began writing at 13 and was a regular performer in honky-tonks at 16. Self-described as #genrefluid, she hopes to re-introduce satire and depth into pop music.

Leah Blevins

Within the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains in Sandy Hook, KY, came Nashville rising inger/songwriter Leah Blevins. With hints of Emmylou Harris and Stevie Nicks, Leah’s country, bluesy style is expressed and felt through song as she relentlessly captivates music listeners with her haunting voice and touching lyrics.

Will Bowen

A Grammy nominated singer/songwriter who signed his first publishing deal while a senior in high school. As an artist, he’s opened for Dave Matthews, Counting Crows, John Mayer, Maroon 5 and Train.

YouthYear

An American artist, songwriter and producer based out of Nashville, TN. YouthYear’s upcoming first EP and sound is a collection of post-party songs from an ex-partier with elements of nu-school pop-punk, hip-hop & alt-rock.

GIRL907

GIRL907 is an infectious pop sister duo consisting of sisters Rachele Lynae (solo country artist) and Heather Cole (solo pop artist) with a sound born out of Kodiak, Alaska (area code 907) and fine-tuned in the music cities of Nashville and Los Angeles. Raised as daughters of a fisherman, Rachele and Heather and have been singing together since they were barely big enough to stand alone on a stage.
